AUTOBLOCK
technical characteristics:
The
contact-holder bases
are made of Delrin.
All electrical contacts are made using retractable pins. The contact heads
are shaped in various ways according to the type of contacts inserted in
the isolated joint. Precise factory assembly makes it possible to position
these contacts, inside the AUTOBLOCK, in order to assure optimal interception
of the mating terminal. One of the main characteristics of the retractable
pins is ease of replacement in the case of damage.
All the AUTOBLOCKs are equipped with mechanical devices to restrain the
isolated joint which, according to the various versions, may be made of
aluminium or light alloy. The isolated joints are extracted operating manually
on the specific release buttons or activating an central air-operated control.
Each AUTOBLOCK is complete with an identifier tag giving its identification
code and the type of isolated joint it can interconnect
AUTOBLOCK
capabilities are extended
with a set of optional sensors
and devices such as:
- Leds that are switched on, flash
or switched off to inform the operator
of the operations to be carried out.
- Electrical limit switch to indicate correct and complete insertion
of the isolated connector.
- Secondary Lock presence sensor to make sure that this is closed or inserted.
- Insulating grommet presence sensor (e.g. on 'Splash- Proof' connectors).
- Color recognition sensor (e.g. fuse-holder boxes).
- Push-Back' or Back-Most devices to identify any terminals not correctly
inserted in the isolated joint.
