This system represents the state
of the art of SIXTAU experience, thanks to the deep cooperation
with the greatest harnesses manufacturers worldwide.

The system offers maximum reliability and connectivity. Its architecture
is based on a Personal Computer running Windows NT operating
system. The great computation
power of today's microprocessors grants high test execution speed,
and unbelievable performances
in this field.
An excellent graphic interface,
without CPU time overloading,
allows the operator to detect and precisely locate, in a very easy way,
a failure. In case of an error
detection the following information
is supplied to the operator:


Table's starting and ending Autoblock
LED's blinking.

The modules position on the table is reported
on the display.

Complete electric circuit, with starting,
ending and colour indications, along with other wires interconnection or short circuit indications.

These performances can dramatically reduce the test time, even in case of errors with complex cables. The automatic and dynamic connectors pins assignments recognition is a premium specially when stringent J.I.T requirements must be met.

The test is physically made by means of the interconnection of several modules of the distributed I/O subsystem. 8192 I/O lines can be achieved with 4 channels.

The basic equipment can be expanded with:
IEEE488 interface standard instrumentation
for impedance measurement on 4 wires, capacitors, etc.
Optical fiber connections checking subsystem
Colour checking subsystem

  Adapters configuration (Lay-out)
It allows to define type and quantity of adapters fitted on the test table, directly or starting from the Autoblock library. It comprises the test points automatic detection function ( LED detection) and the definition of additional controls matched with the modules ( leakage, S.L presence, clips, etc.)

Test programs

These programs can automatically be generated from external systems (such as CAD, Capital-H, etc.) or generated by the Uni4 software package. Test control flows, to be actuated before, during or after a test, can be also linked to the test programs.

Cable under test selection
Can be made by means of a barcode reader, or by means of the selection of one of the test programs stored on the table (e.g. variant selection) Multiple or single test cycles are available.

Test

Selection can be made between continuous test, or test executable when all the Autoblock and relevant connectors are fitted on the table.
The standard test phase is as follows:
- Plugs and connectors presence verification (useful in a settling phase)
- Electric circuit correctness check
- Unbalancing verification
- Additional controls presence verification
- Additional test cycles development
- Automatic release of correct cables
- Label printing
- Cable release verification

TCH (Help on-line - Optional)
Together with the call button on the Autoblock,
gives the graphical representation of the connector's configuration and relevant wires.
